We were delighted to partake in a workshop with Rediscovery Centre on their STEM & Sustainability Project. The free education workshops for schools encourage learners to get excited and engaged with STEM. These workshops explore a societal challenge related to sustainability and use STEM thinking and hands-on activities to examine and solve that problem
Whilst 4th & 5th completed a Transport of the Future workshop, 5th & 6th completed a Climate Heroes Workshop. Both workshops were completed with Patrick Hickey and both classrooms had a fantastic time.
Climate Heroes Workshop:
introduces the science of climate change, exploring the
causes and effects of climate change and how we can
take climate action. The workshop features a range of
hands-on activities to explore the science of climate
change, including climate change quiz, investigating the
effects of climate change, examining Climate Action
Heroes from around the world to inspire the students to
create their own climate action plan.
