We decided to make coding a focus for us in school this year. As it hadn’t been done in school before we decided the best way to go about it was to join Coding Ireland and upskill teachers through their online course. We also paired to do a 20 week module course for 4th – 6th class. The children have been loving every bit of it and seeing their individual progress on the app. Once we finish the course we hope to apply for a coding flag for our school.
