Gaeilge

Scoil Fhionáin has a positive attitude towards Gaeilge.

• The interactive programme Bua na Cainte is used from Juniors- 6th class
• Gaeilge neamhfhoirmúil is encouraged throughout the day and we use a whole school “frásaí na seachtaine” every week
• From 1st class upwards we do Cáirde Cainte where the classes mix together and games and topics are spoken between classes to encourage spoken Irish
• Seachtain na gaeilge is celebrated every year and great fun is had!
